  I found this company by reading their reviews on the web. I contacted them! James Petticord came to my house to give me the estimate to replace my house and garage roofs, everything was well explained and easy to understand, I felt comfortable listening to his expertise about the type of work they were going to do and the quality and brand of the materials they were going to use, plus all the Insurance figures explained in black and white, very professional, nice guy and honest! Fast forward, a crew of 10 workers showed up yesterday early in the morning, they worked steady, that kind of work is not easy, they have the endurance and they are organized, each one of them had a special skill, for example, one was cutting wood all the time and he was busy with the fast pace the ones on the roof were demanding it. They took a half hour lunch and they kept going until late in the evening, they peeled off the old roofs and they put all new plywood, plus a layer of tar paper and another one of synthetic something, I am not an expert on this and 50-year shingles on top of all that, they replaced all the vents with metal ones and they put new flashing around the chimney, they installed a small metal diverter that makes water from rain or snow flow away from the chimney, I didn’t have that before, they improved it and I didn’t even imagine that that even existed. Tim and James handled all the paperwork with the Insurance and they kept me posted via email, It was effortless for me, I didn’t do anything! They did everything in the background. To resume, this company, its employees the quality of workmanship and the quality of the materials, exceeded all my expectations, they took every precaution,from protecting all the windows with plywood and tarped around the house before they started, until the end, when I thought everything was finished, they were still, looking for nails with several magnetic devices and picking up the smallest piece of old shingle or paper that was on the ground. The best form of compliment to this company is telling the truth. I just did! Thank you Tim , James and all your hard working employees.

  Pettiecord was our first call as we went thru the claim process with our insurance. Beyond pleased with the interactions and professionalism from start to finish. The roofing crew and siding crew were the best I’ve ever dealt with. While it’s never fun going through a catastrophic hail event, this whole experience was made so much better by the Pettiecord team. We have now referred them to all our friends and neighbors! Thank you!
