      These guys put on my last roof and it feels great! They had the old roof off in minutes and the metal one on in a few hours. We are so happy with the craftsmanship and appearance of the metal looks great! I would recommend them to my family and friends! Great job to the guys that did the actual job Thank you again team!

      I'm highly impressed with KangaRoof. Chris Kasson our specialist was very professional and personable. As far as the install of our gutters they arrived 15 minutes early and were done in 2.5 hours which I found very impressive. The gutters look great and have functioned perfectly so far. One of our downspouts was clogged and the installer made me aware which I appreciated. They also just stopped by and did a post job inspection to make sure everything is working properly. Great experience all around.

      I honestly have no idea how these guys are rated so highly. Bad experience from start to finish. A brief overview: Jacob told us they were two weeks out to get us into a contract (our roof was actively leaking) - they didn’t start for ~10 weeks. The first time we thought they were about to start on our roof, they showed up unannounced, and began doing THE WRONG PROJECT. As it turns out, they still needed to finish/correct something on our neighbor’s roof. Wish we had talked to our neighbors before entering our own contract with them. Jacob initially also placed emphasis on the fact that kangaroof was a higher price than competitors because they used an “in house crew.” Our roof was finally completed by an unmarked crew (the guy with the kangaroof cap didn’t show up until both of our window boxes were broken) that was fired shortly after. They took months to fix what didn’t pass the first inspection, and perform a second inspection. In that time we received two incorrect invoices and were repeatedly asked why we weren’t paying. When we finally spoke up about the misrepresentations, delays, and general lack of professionalism, they lied, shifted blame, became hostile. This ultimately ended with them threatening to put a mechanics lien on our house unless we paid them their price. Please don’t patronize these people.

      Thank you for taking the time to leave a review that is critical of our company. It’s often in our deficiencies where we find the most room for growth. I think we all agree that we wish you’d have had a better experience with our company. There are a few items in your review of us that are unfair and conflate separate issues without context. For example, when we initially visited your home in November of 2020, you elected to not move forward until July of 2021. Our operational tempo in November is 2-3 weeks; our tempo in July is, historically, 8-12 weeks. Yet, your review leaves out that context. Your place in our operation queue was determined at the time you signed the proposal—not the time you received the quote. Also, you accuse us of doing the wrong project. That’s not the case. You retained our services for few different projects on your home and we performed them in the order that is best practice in our industry. We concede that we didn’t communicate effectively enough for you to understand the steps of the project. We’ve addressed our standards for communicating with our clients and have made necessary changes. At no point did we lie or shift blame. We owned our mistakes and continue to do so. As communicated with your husband through several emails and phone calls, I’m truly sorry that you didn’t have a better experience than you did. It’s our goal to please every client and provide top-tier service on every job. That’s the problem with setting exceptionally high expectations—sometimes we fall a bit short of our own standards. You mentioned you “have no idea how these guys are rated so highly.” It’s because the vast majority of our projects are completed timely, thoroughly, and completely. It’s because we conduct ourselves ethically, professionally, and self-police our processes and procedures regularly. Google limits our response to a specific number of characters.
