After dealing with the Deracho the next hardest thing we’ve had to deal with are contractors, and Axis Contractors are no exception. They constantly did the bare minimum. They often didn't show up when they said they would. We were guaranteed that we had a warrantee on all work done, but getting ahold of anyone to fix warrantee work has proved very difficult. When they placed the tiles on the roof, there were waves in the roof, and areas where the tiles did not overlap each other. We were assured the waves would fix themselves. When I put up lights this year, some waves have settled while other have not. Other waves had nails underneath them that are now popping through the new tiles. We tried to contact our project manager Mike and then the headquarters for Axis only to receive no response on fixing these holes we have in our new tiles. We ended up having to go up and fix these nails and holes ourselves before the rain and snow caused issues. Additionally, the tiles over hang the gutters quite a lot. Between the overhang and the way the screens on the gutters were placed, the tiles have a U shape that does not drain the water into the gutters. The siding was finally placed on the house as well almost a year after the Deracho due to back order issues. When placed, the contractor left a huge gap between the siding and brick on the front of our house- some areas had a ½ inch gap. Axis did not order the correct flashing originally and could not find the correct color in the correct flashing and instead made their own white flashing which stands out on the house and not in a good way. However, this did cover the gap, but when they placed the caulk, they did not smooth it out, and we are left with a rough looking finish instead of a smooth one- you would think a contractor would know how to smooth caulk out! They also got blue caulk on our white wood trim which was never taken care of. After placing the siding on, they placed the plug fixtures back on the house. They did not wire the electrical back correctly and didn't hook it back to the house correctly which let water get in the panel when we had several strong rain storms come through, tripping the breaker and ultimately destroying the plug which we had to purchase and install ourselves. The front porch light was placed on tilted and the wiring for the light was not installed correctly either. We finally figured out that they had just attached the light to the siding and not into wood which made it hang down funny and eventually fell off during a storm. Again, we had to fix this ourselves. In addition, when they presented us with the final amount due, it did not match by a significant amount what we had left on our records with what was listed on the signed contract. They kept saying "needed things" were added to the amount during the process of installing, but would not/could not give us a breakdown of these items and never let us know about these items being added at the time. If they had, we would have insisted on a new contract being drawn up with the updated amounts- especially with amounts changing the amount they were showing. We finally had to just negotiate an amount in the end because we were tired of the back and forth. After leaving several text and voice messages over several weeks for both Mike and Axis's head office about warrantee work with no responses, we thought maybe they went out of business and went on a search for them. Imagine our surprise when we see not only that they are indeed still in business, but our house is on their Facebook page as a "satisfied customer" along with our vehicle with our license plate not blurred out! Yeah, nope, not a "satisfied customer" and yep, they are still in business- just not interested in doing warrantee work. We would highly recommend that no one use Axis for their house unless you enjoy fixing warrantee work yourself and fighting over money for years.

I was referred to Axis Contracting by a co-worker when I was not have any luck getting a repair company to stop by and have a look at my home. Ricky effectively communicated with my insurance company and his team completed the replacement of all my shingles, siding, and gutters in a timely manner. Ricky always kept me informed of supply changes and scheduled all work to work with my schedule. I would recommend Axis to anyone in need of their services.
